A message from the Principal

Hey! Glad you're checking us out!

At Wallin Oaks Elementary School, we have made it our mission to inspire students to lead with P.R.I.D.E.

Our K9 students and faculty share the core values of Personal accountability, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and high Expectations.

Established only a short time ago in 2021, the staff and students have shown determination to our school community as we develop new traditions together. Our K9 students proudly wear crimson and grey to show our school spirit.

School staff are held to expectations for high-performing instruction to serve our students for a life-long impact.

Our professional habits are aligned with research from The Search Institute of Minnesota's 40 Developmental Assets and Solution Tree's Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Our continued goals are set to 1) develop strong relationships and 2) practice as a whole PLC to push all learners to their capacity.

These two goals commit that all staff members share a common interest in why we will all do what we do for our students. Ultimately, the notion can define us as a staff and our roles together; our why; our united front as a new school community.

Student leadership is created at Wallin Oaks through celebrations and involvement in their school community.

Students who feel cared for are empowered to strive higher academically. K9 students are personally accountable and develop leadership now and gain skills for future opportunities.

Parent partnership is essential every step of the way from Kindergarten to 5th grade.

The strong connection between home and school accelerates K9s to lead the pack. Go K9s!
