Wallin Oaks Elementary School students are celebrating in big ways.
Our school recently recognized its highest risers on the Winter iReady assessment, students who showed the most growth from fall to winter.
“Our highest risers received a medal and a certificate, and we even held a whole-school parade,” said Wallin Oaks Elementary School principal Dr. Marie Zlotnikov. “It was a really neat event!”
Due to predicted frigid temperatures tomorrow, we will have an E-Learning day, Monday, January 26, 2026. Students should NOT report to school.
We will have an E-Learning Day tomorrow, Friday, January 23, 2026, due to predicted frigid temperatures, particularly during school arrival times. Students will need their laptops to log into Google Classroom from home tomorrow. All other activities at our schools on Friday are also canceled.
Jasmine Urbanek, from the preschool program at Plainfield North High School, is looking for preschoolers for an AM and PM session this Spring! This year’s theme, “Literary Legends – Celebrating Famous Characters from the Last 100 Years,” honored the Plainfield Area Public Library’s centennial. Leading the parade was Grand Marshal Mindy Jackson, the library’s School Services Librarian, who has spent decades inspiring a love of reading in District 202 students. 📚✨
